Book Review: Thorn in My Heart by Liz Curtis Higgs

Ah, the fated love triangle. Dynamic and heart wrenching. Two sisters, one beautiful, one plain, compete for the love of one man. The older sister, the plain one, is rejected over and over and I just ached for her the whole time. The man drove me nuts, he’s kind of a spoiled brat and a twit (that’s right – a twit). I enjoyed the Scottish words, talk and old lore. The writing is beautiful and the twists and turns of the story a delightful journey.
