Book Review: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Deep sigh. This is one of those perfect books that lingers long after the last word. The writing is uniquely beautiful and stunningly vivid. The characters lovely and memorable. The themes timeless and resounding. You hope, somehow, it will never end, but when it does you are deeply satisfied and forever affected.
This was actually the second time I read this book and I still found it hard to set it down. Although it is a WWII book, this is not the typical Holocaust book, and yet still heavily poignant.
Read it as soon as you can.
